Ever been curious about rock climbing? Wanted to conquer a fear of heights? Or maybe you're just ready to surprise yourself with what you're capable of? This Recess might have been made for you!
We're taking Recess to new heights at DYNO Detroit!
Join us for an afternoon of climbing, connection, and a little adventure. Whether it's your first time on a climbing wall or you've climbed before, this experience is all about trying something new, building confidence, and having FUN!
We'll start with an introduction to climbing, get comfortable with the equipment, and then it's time to play! You'll have the opportunity to climb at your own pace, challenge yourself in whatever way feels right, and cheer on the women around you.
Maybe you'll make it to the top. Maybe you'll climb a few feet higher than you thought you could. Either way, you'll leave knowing you showed up for yourself and tried something new. And there's something pretty empowering about that!
After climbing, we'll gather for dinner, good conversation, and a special Recess Club gift.

When: Thursday, December 17 | 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Where: DYNO Detroit Climbing, Eastern Market, Detroit
Adventure Level: 3-4 adventure level. No prior climbing experience necessary.
What to Wear: Comfortable athletic clothing you can move freely in.
What to Bring: Water and a little sense of adventure!
Cost: $87 per person, including climbing, equipment rentals, dinner, and a gift.
Space: Limited to 12 women.
Parking & Arrival: Details will be emailed to registered participants.
