We're taking Recess to the island!
There's something pretty magical about Belle Isle, especially when the summer crowds have disappeared and the air has that late-fall chill.
Join us for a morning loop around one of Detroit's most beautiful outdoor spaces. We'll take in the river views, move our bodies, enjoy some good conversation, and maybe even make a new friend or two.
No agenda. No pressure. Just a morning outside with a really great group of women.
Come as you are, bundle up, and let's take a little Island Time.
The Details:
9:00 AM | Group walk
Meet near Shelter 7, by the aquarium and conservatory
Dress in warm layers, especially for the wind off the river
Comfortable walking shoes recommended
Rain or shine
Must be able to walk moderate pace for 5 miles
